Amazing! I enjoyed this a lot. Loved the concept and the artwork. Early Milo was so kind and cute, and I loved manipulative Milo as well.
I appreciate all the attention to detail and the time put into this, it shows! The various expressions Milo had and his different forms. The UI changes and the sound effect changes depending on what path you were on. The easter eggs throughout. I took a little peek and saw over 400 lines of code for the name selection. The messages in morse code and other fun comments <3!!
MC was very unique too, as I haven't played as a mean/evil person. I want to give Milo a hug D; I loved all the designs and the black and white aesthetic.
Thank you! I really wish that I didn't accidentally override my photoshop file for my sprites for Milo because I would have put it as some sort of download so people could have played around with the sprites. Oh well, live and learn.
Yeah! This was my first time doing layered images, but it is really good for making varied expressions. It is really similar to some game modding that I do a lot so I had a lot of fun making him change expression with each line. I have a vendetta against the base Renpy UI (okay, not really, but as a person who really likes UI, I have to at least try to make it unique). I love when people find my easter eggs, and I plan to put even more easter eggs when I update it.
Milo is very cute. I wanna hold his hand and pet his head. The black and white decision was done mostly because I was lazy (and then proceeded to do the line boil effect with everything which would kill me if it was colored) and because I wanted to emphasize the more darker nature of what Eris is like. But I think the aesthetic is very cool too!
No worries! I love the layered images. I haven't seen many vns where the expressions are varied and changing. I really appreciated that detail. It was cool seeing the expressions as he talked and the various sound effects that went along with it.
The encrypted messages in the comments were a lot of fun! It felt like a mini-game trying to translate those. I figured out the morse code and the caesar cipher comments, any hints on the two digit numbers like (56 63 57 55 66 57 46 35 89 67 78 64 56 36 48 68 58...) ? I see what you did with the name Mari! ;)
I don't know if I'm doing it right. I got the word 'manipulation' from the capital letters in the second line, but I can't figure out how it relates to that string of numbers...
This was everything I wanted and MORE. I've been dying for a game like this- where you, the player, gets to be the obsessive, the disgusting, the one with the plan always laid. I'm so in love with the writing, the UI design, the different ways blue and red get interpreted in the endings... and Milo. Oh, Milo. What a perfect, perfect love. This game is going to stick in my mind for so long! I wish I could wipe my memory and play it all over again.
Yeah, me too! I really like more evil MCs, since why should the yandere have all the fun being evil? I'm glad you really enjoyed it though, I tried to put a lot of cool stuff in it so I'm happy it paid off!

Perfect, the art style is cool and has a sense of atmosphere, the story is simple and wonderful at the same time, it is a perfect poke in my heart... I have played the most amazing yandere works on itch, sincere love and praise to the author, looking forward to new works!

I feel so bad for Milo. Poor boy even suffered in the perfect love ending. I did like the "Beyond The Walls" ending, and I think that it is the tamest ending in the game.
Pre-Milo is still my favorite version in the game, but Manipulation Milo is very charming, and handsome, wereas Pre-Milo is sweet, and cute.
l have my own alternative ending to the game in my mind, where Perfect Ending Milo is happy, so I have found some comfort in that.
All in all, it was an interesting game. Keep up the great work on your future games as well!

Ahhaha yeahhh, I'm a sucker for yanderes cause they're very interesting characters with no redeeming qualities but can be easily sympathetic or the crappiest person to ever exist. And I always try to leave comments in every game/vn/if I play to give my support to developers and maybe guide some peeps.
Yea i find games that combine horror and romance together so intriguing :D
And i also love if you can determine which way it goes (Like "Forcefully yours" which gives me the vibe of that game since both used so many sprites lol)

The two digit ones have a key, which should be the second line in the script.rpy line. Look through the capitalized letters.

I'm glad you liked it! Beyond the Walls ending is actually (fun fact) based on one of my friend's favorite type of yanderes, wall men.
I got all the endings (including both True variations) and wowowow. Definitely a dark, intriguing take on a yandere romance!
