i adOred this game! the Black and white aeSthetic was supEr cool and it waS my firSt time seEing a Dev use a unique aspect ratio with renpy. in a Way it remInded me of Tamagotchi or a raising sim wHich fits with the manipulation and training in the storY. it was fun playing as an Obviously bad person doing obvioUsly bad things and i loved the freak for freak relationship.
my favourite end was the fire end i'm just a sucker for manipulative yanderes.
the only thing i could complain about is that i don't like the use of the word sp*z in the true end. i know spastic is a word but using the version typically used as a slur was a choice? but yeah this was an amazing game!
This game REALLY worked for me. The MC is so delightfully twisted and manipulative. Milo is adorable. Also, I love how there were multiple points where my yandere-loving ass was like "We've hit the goal, right? ...right?" And then the MC wasn't happy until he was willing to kill, maim, and manipulate her, as well. Also, I was NOT expecting all the Ryan lore.
Side note, the art style quickly grew on me. The sketch-like quality, the overall focus on emotion & tone, the MC's insane Uzumaki-esque hair...
A very interesting experience using audio and visuals to the fullest extent. I like the freedom of pronouns and naming, it really helps to elevate it. Looking forward to finishing all the endings but my first playthrough was well worth the download

I have no idea why people were complaining about this game in any form, 8 endings, an MC with an actual PERSONALITY, despite being a heavily toxic one, I found it so relieving to play a visual novel that doesn't have the MC just be a quirky flirt, or a clumsy oblivious girl or boy or anything.

I've played the game now. I won't say my opinion here, but I feel like you have a misunderstanding about what this project is. It was made during a game jam; these projects usually have a limited timeframe between 1 to 4 weeks. Might explain why certain parts felt rushed, no.
Though even if the creator decided to expand the game outside of the game jam, that still makes what you are asserting poorly worded. Your criticism is fully influenced by your tastes. You don't like how the art looks, you don't like the gameplay, you don't like the personality of the character you play as. You don't like it because it doesn't match your tastes. That's it. There is nothing to gain from your criticism; you are asserting your opinion regarding your experience based on how the game matches your tastes. What is a developer supposed to do with that?
Of course, you are free to respectfully express your opinion, no matter how negative. But if you keep calling it criticism, I will criticise your criticism like others have done. Stating that the game is poorly made because it doesn't match your tastes is absurdly close-minded and illogical.
I'm pretty new to the Itch.io platform, so idk if there's a bug report on here and can't find one in game, but I found a text bug while playing. Other than that, I genuinely REALLY love this game!

That's okay to believe, not to turn into a nerd on you but it does still class as a visual novel, I do understand that's probably not what you meant. But it does show you can't really provide a reason as to why you dislike it. It's okay to dislike a game for the reasons you have mentioned but it doesn't offer any feedback to the game's creator, I mean, if we look from their eyes, how are they meant to improve from the things you've mentioned?
i wish i could've had the option to be nice to him but i guess that wasn't the point of the game, i still really enjoyed it! i kinda decided to play it cause milo likes crocheting, and i can relate. (i actually crochet bunnies for my shop lol)

One of the best Yandere VNs I've ever played (and I've played a lot, I love them). Genuinely really really loved this game! I love the concept of a manipulative MC controlling the scenario to craft the yandere it's so unique and refreshing
It is only now that I've realized the creator of this game is also the person running the MaleYandereCafe Tumblr blog! Ahh! I visit that blog often for recommendations of new media with male yanderes in it, it is so cool to me that my favorite yandere VN (this game) is made by the same person running that blog! @o@
Is the MC of this Vn someone the bullies are scared of due to unspoken actions or is "Karis" [the name i picked, which translates(In a different game's language) to Darkness/Un-light due to what the MC does] an easter egg?

Played this VN a year ago, its an amazing game. The atmosphere and dialog was super unique. I love the story so much, thank you for making this!!
